The Squad features those stalwarts of Montreal RnR, Choyce, D. Marks, A. A. Khan, and their childhood buddy, Rich Ritalin. The EP is a mongo-masterpiece of KBD dummy punk, and evokes some sort of detention hall consortium of folks like The Gizmos, The Trend, and Suicidal Tendencies. This one is something of a concept effort, though I'll be damned if I can fully wrap my head around what Mr. Ritalin is on about here. American foreign policy, religiosity, and y'all's proclivity for Pharaoh-worship are all grist for the mill. Edition of 1000 comes on random mixed colored vinyl. (Psychic Handshake Recordings)
